Our Little Story
Founded in 2016. Bright Future Private School (B.F.P.S) is located 2 kilometres from Omuthiya Town Council, along Tsumeb – Ondangwa main road. The school began as a small pre-primary school with committed and dedicated full – time staff, but today the school provides education from age 3-13 and has over 300 learners from different ethical backgrounds and denominations in both Boarding and Day sections.
Bright Future Private School is a Christian privately owned with a School Board Committee, an Advisory Board of Directors and the day-to-day running of the school is managed by the Principal. The institute is registered under the Ministry of Education Sports and Culture offering with a curriculum based on the National Curriculum for Namibia.1n 2019 the school took the decision to expand the school to age15 that is; Junior Secondary and the first students will be enrolled in the year 2022.

The School
The school has a rich resource in the nature and diversity of its learners. However the suitability of the school for each learner is assessed upon entry, to ensure that B.F.P.S can meet their needs. All learners from Year 3 upwards spend time on outdoor education trips, staying overnight for varying lengths of time; each learner swims once a week and takes part in all activities.
The school is also able to provide for learners with mild learning difficulties. The school also offers a full enrichment programme, which includes a wide range of clubs and societies and a house system, as well as ample opportunities to develop skills in creative arts, music and sports, both inside and outside the classroom. This programe underpins our aims Bright Future Private School aims to instill a life-long love for learning, self-development and a belief in one’s abilities in all pupils.
